Topical Studies

EXPOSE ourselves to new ways of thinking. EXPLORE new ways of experiencing God, Faith, Grace, and Love. EXPAND our hearts and minds to become a more Christian community.

Sisters in Faith (Women’s Bible Study/Sharing Group)

Monday at 9:00am (Room A7) We are currently studying, “Inspired” by Rachel Held Evans.

The  Sisters in Faith is  a group of Christian women from both Grace UMC and the greater community.  We meet weekly in a judgment free environment, to share our faith, grow in our knowledge of the Word through group study, and nurture relationship by loving God and loving others.

We believe that we are " Created for a time such as this."  Esther 4:14

Evening Bible Study

Wednesday at 6:00pm(Room A7) We are currently study the book of Exodus. Our primary resource for our discussion is the book, “Exodus for Normal People” by Peter Enns.

Our Evening Bible Study is relaxed and engaging. (We realize it is around dinner time so feel free to bring your own dinner.) Our goal is to open ourselves up to new ways of thinking about the Bible and hear from others with whom we may, or may not, agree. We follow 3 Simple Rules: 1) Don’t be intentionally aggressive when sharing your opinion; 2) Embrace being uncomfortable from time to time; and 3) engage in exploration not indoctrination.
